MORE Contingency Program

A Contingency is an award paid by the distributor or Manufacturer of a product to a race team and or racer to both act as an award and to promote the product the distributor, Vendor or Manufacturer is representing/selling. This award may be in the form of cash, check, discount, gift certificate, credit service, labor or award according to each contingency sponsor’s sole discretion/program.

Contingency Inspection will be held the same day and time as Technical Inspection, and consists of an inspection of the vehicle to insure all contingency requirements are met.

Decals supplied to MORE when available by the manufacturers will be available at the MORE trailer.

Racers may also obtain decals direct from the manufacturers.

All decals MUST be mounted on the SIDES of the car or side door windows.

Decals may not be stacked.

Decals MUST be on the car before Tech inspection or qualifying and remain on car for the entire event.

Winners and R/U's will need to fill out a Contingency Checklist Form, signed by an MORE official that both the decal and the "parts" are on the car. For some classes, this will be done at the scales and others at the MORE trailer.

MORE will submit the completed forms to the appropriate contingency sponsors, who will pay the racers directly. MORE is not responsible for non-payment of contingency.

Unless otherwise directed, all contingency winners need to have both the parts and the decals on the cars.

For contingencies for internal engine parts (cams, cranks, rods, etc), some proof of purchase will be needed.

Some contingency sponsors will require invoices or proof of purchase prior to payment.

Contingency payouts may be in the form of cash, products or gift certificates at sponsor's sole discretion.

The acceptance of any contingency award from a specific sponsor will allow that sponsor to use a photo of the recipient's car for advertising and promotional purposes without additional permission.

There MUST be 3 cars in class unless stated otherwise in the contingency.

We will TRY to have all the sponsor's stickers available at the sign up trailer. BUT, it would be beneficial to any racers to contact the companies that you are interested in and get you stickers early! M.O.R.E. will do their best to have all the stickers available but cannot be responsible for not having them at the time you ask for them.

Race Contingency Program:

The highest finisher in each class that meets our contingency requirements will receive one of the following: $250 in product if you are the class winner or $150 in product for top qualified finisher. There is only one award per class.

All night races are eligible in the MORE off road series

Rules:

Vehicle must have at least 2 Sol tek lights and no competing headlights over 4” in diameter.

Two 40 square inch (minimum size) Sol tek/ Baja Designs decals are required, one on each side of the vehicle. No other lighting company decals can be on the vehicle.

Vehicle must finish race.

Class must have a minimum of 6 entrants to qualify

All contingency claims must be submitted with official race results, a completed claim form, and proof of contingency compliance signed by race promoter. Claim forms must be submitted within 45 days of event. Awards can be accumulated throughout the year, but must be claimed by January 31, 2008.
